Delay to the 2020-2021 School Year
Posted on 09/01/2020
Dear IHPCH Community,
This
morning Mayor De Blasio announced a delay to the start of the 2020-2021
school year. School will be reopening for in person classes starting
September 21st. From September 16th to September 18th, teachers will hold
virtual orientations for students so that students can meet their
teachers and learn the processes for in person classes and remote
classes.
September 21:
- Students who are in Group A (Monday/Tuesday schedule) will be coming to the school for in person classes.
- Students who are in Group B (Wednesday/Thursday schedule) will be taking their classes online.
- Students who are in Group D (100% remote online instruction) will be taking their classes online.
While
there is a delay to the beginning of the school year, the plan for in
person learning and remote learning has not changed. This delay will
provide us greater opportunity to collaborate as a staff to continue to
deliver high quality instruction to our students in all groups. If you
want to change your decision for in person or remote learning, please
update your preferences using the link below.
